Aerial surveillance for the Forestry Commission

DEFRA is taking part in trying to prevent the European Spruce Bark Beetle spreading from England to Scotland and potentially doing harm to its forestry industry. The beetle blows over from the Ardennes to Eastern England so it's important to try to eliminate it from this 'stepping stone' before it does more serious damage. As part of the work, the effects of climate change are being modelled in Cambridge so this is a multi-agency effort. Robert's background is environmental arboriculture with experience all over the world.
