From left to right: Françoise Wauters (later my mother), Jeanne Wauters (her mother and later my Belgian grandmother), Jens Schacht, Françoise's older sister Bernadette Wauters, the old lady with the dogs is presumably one of my two Belgian great-grandmothers (probably Victoire Léonie Philippine, née Bouvy), Charles Wauters (Françoise's father and later my Belgian grandfather).
