Alice Roberts is an English biological anthropologist, biologist, television presenter and author. Since 2012 she has been Professor of the Public Engagement in Science at the University of Birmingham. In 2019 Alice began a three-year term as President of the charity Humanists UK, which campaigns for state secularism and 'a tolerant world where rational thinking and kindness prevail'. She likes watercolour painting, surfing, wild swimming, cycling and gardening.
